Welcome to the Office of Missiona and Ministry! We seek to build the La Roche Community by daily exploring the college's mission. Each member of the Mission and Service team seeks to serve students, staff, and faculty through spiritual programming, service learning projects, and programming that promotes peace and justice in our local and global community.
Because La Roche College was founded by the Sisters of Divine Providence, it has its mission solidly linked to theirs as we share the Sisters desire to "co-create a world of compassion, justice and peace." The Office of Mission and Service works with the Sisters to further the work of promoting peace and justice through shared programs and projects reflecting our common bond and Catholic heritage.
All worship and prayers services, as well as service learning projects and other programs, are open to all students, staff and faculty, as well as members of the local community who wish to participate with us. Truly all are welcome.
We feel blessed that you are part of the La Roche Community. Come and discover all we have to offer as we further the mission, grow in faith, and become the best for the world!
*Mass is held in the Providence Heights Motherhouse chapel at 9:00 AM on Sundays and all are welcome.
Mission and Ministry now has an inter-faith prayer room located in Bold Hall I, Room 218. The room is open daily to offer students of all faiths a private place to pray and reflect as they need to in their individual faith tradition. The room is part of the Mission and Ministry Office Suite in the lobby of Bold Hall I.

Our non-denominational fellowship group is open to all students and meets Tuesdays 9:15 p.m. in the Ryan Room. Students are invited to share faith, fellowship, prayer and praise as they come together to reflect upon God's action in their lives and the role of faith in their daily lives. This weekly activity is part of our partnership for the Coalition for Christian Outreach. Students enjoy Christian music and Worship lead by students, interaction with students of all faith traditions, relevant discussions and messages from a Biblical viewpoint. Students can also be involved in student leadership, service projects, and small group opportunities throughout the school year.
The Sisters of Divine Providence are praying for you! Don't forget that if you have a special prayer intention you want them to pray for, drop a note in the basket located at the information desk in the College Center. The intentions are taken to a chapel at Providence Heights daily by Sr. Rose Michele. If you are feeling alone, remember, you are not.
