Writer and anthropologist Zora Neale Hurston (1891-1960) wrote: “there is no agony like bearing an untold story inside you.” Many of the selections in this year’s edition of Nuances capture the tension and urgency of Hurston’s words. It is our hope that you the reader will be transported by the writings collected here, and that they may help you discover your own inner stories. Enjoy!
