The Pittsburgh Council of Higher Education (PCHE) provides opportunities for student to take courses at any of the ten PCHE institutions in the Pittsburgh area. Those institutions include:
- Carlow University
- Carnegie Mellon University
- Chatham University
- Community College of Allegheny County - CCAC
- Duquesne University
- La Roche College
- Pittsburgh Theological Seminary
- Point Park University
- Robert Morris University
- University of Pittsburgh
Cross-registration is available in the Fall and Spring semesters only to full-time students enrolled in one of the PCHE institutions. Students may cross-register for only one course per semester at only one of schools.
Cross-registration forms are available in the Registrar's Office and must be processed by the deadlines established by each school. A calendar of those deadlines is available here (PCHE Combined Calendar of Deadline Dates). The completed form must be submitted to the La Roche College Registrar, with the approval of the students' advisor. The Registrar will notify students as to whether or not the cross-registration has been approved. If approved, students are registered through La Roche and the cost of the course is included in the La Roche college tuition.
All forms must contain the correct course number and title of the PCHE course.
